Re: Allcom
Mon, September 10, 2007 - 2:34 PMPLease tell me that the digest option works better. I just received 20 some emails that made no sense due to the strange order that they came in and lack of beckground info. -

Re: Allcom
Mon, September 10, 2007 - 4:23 PMSign up for a gmail account specifically for allcom . It threads the emails into conversations which makes things much, much easier to follow. It also means you have the massive amounts of email quarantined where they won't infect your other conversations.

Re: Allcom
Mon, September 10, 2007 - 9:59 PMactually....while i haven't tried the digest version in quite some time....i think it's actually worse.
or at least it was last time I looked at it.
certainly find a mail software that allows for filtering of messages, or as Tarmac suggested, go with an entirely separate e-mail account.
hey....at least this time we're talking about stuff that's actually useful. -

Re: Allcom
Tue, September 11, 2007 - 8:19 AMPersonally I use Gmail.
Then I use Outlook to fetch mail from the Gmail account.
The Allcom emails get filtered into it's very own directory inside Outlook.
Then I can click on the subject line to place all the mail into neat categories which organizes them automatically by date received. -

Re: Allcom
Tue, September 11, 2007 - 12:23 PMGmail also has a way to filter and label emails so that you can pull up only Allcom emails and keep them tagged and indexed for easier searching at a later date.

Wed, September 19, 2007 - 5:44 PMFYI, I don't think the digest option has been working right for quite a while now. Tulsa was talking about turning it off altogether. . .
